Use this streaming bitrate calculator to estimate how much data a live stream may send and optionally record. It is useful for events, webinars, church services, classes, sports streams, and remote productions where bandwidth, storage, and data caps matter.
Stream data GB = bitrate Mbps x duration hours x 3600 / 8 / 1000.
Recording storage is often approximately the same data amount when recorded at the same bitrate.
